Top advisor to the Ukrainian Presidency, Mikhail Podoliak, has denounced the «radical reduction» of publications on Twitter mentioning Russia’s aggression against the country.
«‘War in Ukraine’ has disappeared from Twitter trends. There is a radical reduction of tweets mentioning coverage about Russian aggression,» the advisor to Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has warned.
Podoliak also warned that «users cannot register or log in to accounts with Ukrainian phone numbers».
At this point, Podoliak mentioned the platform’s CEO, Elon Musk, to ask him if in the future this issue will come to light in the ‘Twitter Files’, a hypothetical report advanced by Musk in which possible maneuvers to silence certain topics on the social network will be detailed.
