The Kremlin on Wednesday accused Ukraine of an assassination attempt against Russian President Vladimir Putin using two drones, while stressing that both aircraft were targeting the Russian presidential headquarters, without Kiev commenting on the matter.

»The Kiev regime made an attempt tonight to attack the residence of the Russian president in the Kremlin,» he said, before stressing that Putin was not injured and that he continues to work normally. »The president of Russia has not been injured as a result of this terrorist act,» he stressed.

As a result of the appropriate actions of the Army and special services through the use of radar systems, the devices have been put out of service,» he said, adding that »there are no casualties or material damage as a result of the falling fragments in the Kremlin courtyards,» as reported by the Russian news agency TASS.
