The Ukrainian Armed Forces on Friday put the number of Russian servicemen «liquidated» since the beginning of the invasion, unleashed on February 24, 2022, at about 125,000 and stressed that 850 Russian soldiers have been killed in the fighting over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has pointed out in a message published on its official account on the social network Facebook that Russia has lost «about 124,710» soldiers in combat and added that 3,182 tanks, 2,180 artillery systems and 221 anti-aircraft systems have also been destroyed.
He also assured that since the beginning of hostilities, 292 airplanes, 283 helicopters, 1,941 drones, 796 cruise missiles, 18 ships, 5,0001 vehicles and fuel tanks and 199 pieces of «special equipment» have been destroyed. «The data is being updated,» he added.
The spokesman of the Ukrainian Army General Staff, Oleksander Shtupun, has detailed that during the last 24 hours eight shellings have been launched against «Russian troop concentration points», as well as another one against «a Russian anti-aircraft missile complex».
«Ukrainian missile and artillery troops have hit four command posts, a concentration point of enemy troops, two concentration points of enemy artillery systems, an ammunition depot and two other critical military targets,» he said during his daily briefing.
