Two U.S. military helicopters have collided during a training exercise in the state of Kentucky, Fort Campbell Air Force Base confirmed in a statement, with no details on possible casualties at this time.
The air base said in a message posted on its official account on the social network Facebook that the incident took place at 22.00 hours (local time) on Wednesday in Trigg County and has indicated that the incident involved two ‘HH60 Blackhawk’ aircraft.
He also said that the accident took place during »a routine training mission» and added that »the condition of the crew members is unknown at this time». The command is currently focused on caring for the military and their families,» he said.
