The Polish authorities have informed that the French government will send a total of 150 military personnel to Polish territory to train Ukrainian soldiers within the framework of the European Union Military Assistance mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine).
This was confirmed on Thursday by the spokesman of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Lukasz Jasina, on his official profile on the social network Twitter, where he added that the French will collaborate with the Combined Arms Training Command.
«Together with France, we are working to strengthen Ukraine’s defense potential against Russian aggression,» detailed the Polish representative, whose country has been since the outbreak of the war one of Kiev’s main supporters.
The European Council confirmed in mid-November the launching of EUMAM Ukraine, a mission aimed at supporting the Eastern European country «to face the war of aggression» launched by Russia at the end of February.
