Russian authorities reported Monday that they have carried out new offensives against the Ukrainian Army as troops advance in the direction of other areas of Donetsk in the east of the country, as reported by Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.

«During these offensives, about 70 Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and a tank, combat vehicles, two armored vehicles and several howitzers have been destroyed on a daily basis,» he said, according to a statement.

In addition, he explained that to the south, in the direction of Zaporiyia, Russian units «have continued to be successful in their attack operations and have gained a greater advantage on their front lines».

As he explained, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been hit near the locality of Vugledar in Donetsk, as well as in the vicinity of Uspenivka in Zaporiyia.

«The total number of losses in these areas continues to rise, now to about 25 servicemen killed per day,» Konashenkov qualified, noting that in other areas, such as the vicinity of Limanskiy, they have recorded about 40 servicemen killed.
