Russian Armed Forces on Tuesday destroyed an arsenal of the Ukrainian Army in a new offensive in the vicinity of Kupiansk, Krasno-Limansk and Yuzhno-Donetsk, where Russian troops continue to advance.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a statement that the arsenal in question was located at the Druzhkovka railway station, also in the Donetsk region, and reported that the attack resulted in the destruction of two U.S.-made HIMARS multiple missile launcher system installations.
«As a result of a complex clash with the enemy in the areas of Krasnoye, Petrivskoye, Nevelskoye and Pobeda in Donetsk, 90 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and two tanks and five armed vehicles were destroyed,» he explained before indicating that «more than 30 servicemen were also killed in other battles in the south, as reported by the Interfax news agency.
In this sense, he affirmed that «the losses of the enemy increase to 120 Ukrainians killed and wounded». Konashenkov added that more than 130 «foreign mercenaries» have also perished.
