The United States announced Friday a new military aid package to Ukraine valued at $275 million (€276 million) and including ammunition for U.S.-made HIMARS multiple rocket launcher systems.
As explained by Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh during a briefing on Friday, the package consists of 500 155 precision-guided artillery shells, as well as 2,000 155-millimeter remote anti-armor mine systems, CNN reported.
In addition, this new military aid includes 125 four-by-four Humvees, small arms, more than 2.75 million rounds of small arms ammunition and four satellite communications antennas.
With this package, which is the fourteenth military aid drawdown of U.S. funds, Washington has dedicated «more than $18.5 billion (18.6 billion euros) in security assistance to Ukraine» since the beginning of the Biden Administration.
