UK intelligence services said Wednesday that »fewer missiles» were used in the latest cruise missile bombardments by Russia against Ukraine than in previous events as part of »Russian attempts to restore its arsenals.»

»On April 28 and May 1, 2023, Russia carried out air strikes with cruise missiles against Ukraine. They were the first in 50 days, following those that took place on March 9,» they have specified, according to a statement published by the British Ministry of Defense through its Twitter account.

Thus, they said that these attacks were carried out by long-range strategic aircraft and stressed that »fewer missiles were used in both than in previous attacks, probably due to efforts to restore their arsenals of long-range aircraft-launched missiles».

»The facilities damaged by Russian shelling indicate a possible shift away from shelling against the Ukrainian power grid. The recent shelling was probably focused on Ukraine’s military, industrial and logistical infrastructure,» they concluded.
