Former U.S. President Donald Trump has called the recent allegations against him a »new form of election cheating,» he said in an interview with Fox News.
»It’s a new form of election cheating. It’s called election interference,» he said when asked whether the investigations benefit or hurt him.
The former president, who is being investigated, among other cases, for bribing actress Stormy Daniels, had warned of the possible »death and destruction» that would arise in the country if he is finally prosecuted. In fact, Trump warned that his arrest would be imminent and even set his possible arrest for Tuesday, something that finally did not happen.
Trump, who has participated in the interview for almost an hour in prime time, has also expressed his complaints about the vote by mail, which he has criticized on numerous occasions, as well as against the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, who is expected to challenge Trump in the nomination of the Republican Party for the 2024 presidential elections.
