The Ukrainian Army on Wednesday put the number of Russian servicemen killed in fighting over the past 24 hours at more than 600 and said that to date more than 82,700 Russian soldiers have died since the start of the invasion.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has pointed out that «around 82,710» soldiers «have been killed» since the beginning of the war – including 630 during the last day – unleashed on February 24 by the invasion order given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He also highlighted in a message published on his Facebook account that since the beginning of the war, 2,871 tanks, 1,860 artillery systems, 209 anti-aircraft defense systems and 393 self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launchers have been destroyed.
On the other hand, he said that 278 airplanes, 261 helicopters, 1,525 drones, 474 cruise missiles, 4,360 vehicles and fuel tanks and 160 pieces of «special equipment» have also been destroyed.
«The data is being updated,» the Ukrainian Army General Staff has said. «Hit the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,» it has apostrophized in its balance sheet, published against the background of territorial advances in recent weeks by Kiev forces.
