British advertising agency WPP, the world’s largest advertising agency, turned over 3.573 billion pounds (4.153 billion euros) in the third quarter of 2022, raising revenues by 10.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
«WPP continues to demonstrate good momentum, reflecting widespread growth across our agencies, markets and industry sectors and our clients’ investment in marketing, e-commerce and digital transformation,» stressed the firm’s CEO Mark Read.
On a like-for-like basis, the U.S. posted 4.5 percent higher revenue, while the U.K. grew 4.2 percent and Germany saw a contraction of 8.7 percent. China also entered negative territory with a nine percent decline.
For the first nine months of 2022 as a whole, WPP’s revenues grew 10.2 percent year-on-year to $10,329 million.
