The Ukrainian Armed Forces claimed Tuesday to have killed nearly 500 Russian servicemen in fighting over the past 24 hours and put the number of Russian soldiers «liquidated» since the start of the invasion at more than 88,300.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army said in a message on its Facebook account that 480 Russian servicemen have been killed over the past day and noted that «about 88,380» have died since the outbreak of the war.

Thus, he pointed out that since the beginning of the invasion, 2,911 tanks, 1,901 artillery systems, 209 anti-aircraft defense systems and 395 self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launchers have been destroyed.

On the other hand, he said that 280 aircraft, 261 helicopters, 1,555 drones, 531 cruise missiles, 16 ships, 4,423 vehicles and fuel tanks and 163 pieces of special equipment have also been destroyed.

«The data is being updated. Beat the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth,» he stressed, while stressing that «the Russian occupiers concentrate their efforts on containing the actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces units.»

In this regard, he detailed that «the transfer of the enemy’s military personnel and equipment continues in order to equip units that have suffered losses», before adding that «it is expected that some enemy units will be transferred from the territory of Belarus after acquiring combat capabilities».
