
At least two people have been killed in Mexico in a clash between Jalisco and federal security authorities against suspected criminals in the municipalities of Encarnacion de Diaz and Teocaltiche in the western state of Jalisco.
Jalisco Governor Enrique Alfaro has confirmed that officers from the Security Secretariat have shot down two armed criminals while trying to prevent an aggression in the municipality of Encarnacion de Diaz, he posted on his Twitter account.
In addition, several vehicles have been set on fire in the nearby municipality of Teocaltiche, where authorities from different levels of government have arrived, although it is not known at this time whether there are people detained, injured or dead, according to ‘Milenio’.
