At least three dead and two wounded in a shooting in Jalisco (Mexico)

At least three people have been killed and two injured in a shooting that took place on Monday in the Mexican town of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, in the western state of Jalisco.

At around 9.15 p.m. local time, a gun attack took place in a residential area. When the emergency services arrived at the scene, they were able to confirm that three people had lost their lives, and the two wounded were taken to a medical center with a serious condition, as reported by the Reforma news agency.

The intentional homicide unit of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, assisted by members of the Investigation Police, is at the scene, carrying out investigations to establish the possible causes and to identify and capture the person or persons responsible.

So far no one has been arrested for the incidents, although neighbors have indicated that the victims were in a food business.
