Moldova suffered a «massive blackout» on Wednesday following a new wave of attacks by Russian forces on neighboring Ukraine, again reportedly targeting energy infrastructure, according to the Moldovan government.
Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Spinu said that the company managing the grid «is working to reconnect more than 50 percent of the country to electricity».
Among the cities affected by the blackouts is Moldova’s capital, Chisinau, according to local media.
