South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will chair a ministerial meeting on Sunday to discuss measures against the truckers’ strike, which is entering its eleventh day, to demand that the minimum wage be guaranteed.
The strike is causing disruptions in shipments of cement and steel supplies and has also begun to wreak havoc in the oil refinery sector, according to Yonhap.
The ministers of economy and finance, interior and security, infrastructure and transport, and the police chief will be present at the talks, an official told the local media.
