Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky on Friday conveyed his hope to form a special court to try crimes committed by Russia during its invasion of Ukraine.
Having spoken to politicians at different levels in cities across Europe, Ukraine is strengthening its position by garnering support from its partners for a court to be set up to deliver justice, the Ukrainian leader detailed in his daily message to the country’s population.
«This week we have worked with the European capitals at different levels (…) London, Paris, Berlin, Warsaw and other cities (…) I am sure that there will be a court, that there will be justice», reaffirmed Zelesnki.
He also detailed that the Ukrainian diplomacy is also advancing «noticeably» in another point of «the Ukrainian peace formula», the food security.
«We use every day to make the world see and feel that global stability is possible only together with Ukraine,» the Ukrainian president affirmed.
All in all, he welcomed the return to «normal life» of the people living in the «liberated areas» of the Kherson region, thanking all those who, despite the «constant» Russian attacks, «are doing everything so that the Ukrainian could live, live normally».
«In the Kherson region, every week there is more mobile communication coverage, more electricity and gas supply, more transport possibilities. Every week there is more access to normal medicine, educational and social services. Today the broadcasting of the Ukrainian channel Edini Novini has also started in Kherson,» he added.
«These are people from different regions: they have all united, responded to the call for help. They are our energy workers, builders, communications workers, repair teams, enterprises, local leaders, demining specialists,» Zelenski listed, further detailing that demining continues in all parts of the country.
