UN, Turkish and Ukrainian representations have approved the inspection of 14 vessels with a view to their departure or arrival at Ukrainian Black Sea ports under the grain export agreement despite the suspension announced on Saturday by Russia.

The approved program foresees for this Monday to proceed with the inspection of the 14 ships, the UN delegation to the Joint Coordination Center based in Istanbul has published. The Russian delegation has been informed about this, the Russian news agency TASS notes.

Twelve ships are to depart from Ukrainian ports and two ships have requested to dock in Ukrainian ports. In addition there are six ships that have already sailed from Ukrainian ports, although they have not yet entered the humanitarian corridor.

These ships are carrying a total of 186,400 tons of food. In addition there are 21 ships with 700,000 tons of cargo to access Ukrainian ports.
