The U.S. Department of Defense, reported Thursday that, following the outbreak of war in Ukraine at the end of February 2022, the U.S. military has trained more than 7,000 Ukrainian troops.
As detailed by Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder, 65 Ukrainian military personnel have received instruction in the use of the Patriot air defense system at the Fort Sill camp in Oklahoma and have returned to Europe to complete their training.
According to the Defense Department spokesman, more than 4,000 other Ukrainian military personnel will have received instruction in the use of combined arms in Germany before the end of this month, according to the U.S. network CNN.
