Donetsk Police have reported that the preliminary report points to three dead and about 20 injured, although there may be victims under the rubble.
It has also added that eight apartment buildings have been damaged and one of them has been completely destroyed, according to a statement on the Facebook account of the Donetsk Police in which they detail that there are several emergency and rescue teams on the scene.

Officers, in turn, are evacuating residents of the affected buildings to a local school where a shelter is being deployed.
The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has announced that it has launched the pre-trial investigation into the violation of laws and customs of war of the criminal code, whereby prosecutors are documenting «war crimes committed by representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,» it said via Telegram.
«EVERYDAY REALITY OF OUR COUNTRY»
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky has conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims, adding that the country’s authorities «will find and punish all the perpetrators (of the crimes because) they deserve no mercy.»
«This is not a repetition of history, this is the daily reality of our country. A country bordering on absolute evil.
And a country that has to overcome it to reduce to zero the likelihood of such tragedies happening again,» Zelenski said.
Thus, the Ukrainian president considered that this attack «had no other objective than terror», while he reiterated that «the only way to stop Russian terrorism is to defeat it with tanks, fighter planes and long-range missiles».
