Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky on Tuesday held a telephone conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Har Stere on the situation on the front line as the Russian invasion of the territory progresses.
«I have told the Norwegian prime minister about the risks of increased violence on the frontline. I have discussed Ukraine’s urgent defense needs,» he has asserted in a Twitter message.
He also pointed out that he thanked the Norwegian authorities for «the support received for the energy infrastructure» of Ukraine and the «financing provided to purchase gas for the winter».
The Norwegian government has also delivered aid for the construction of a dozen bridges, so it is expected that the structures and materials will arrive in the country during this month of January.
